How Bux-Mont Awards is Making a Difference this Earth Day

As Earth Day approaches, it's important to reflect on the ways that businesses can make a positive impact on the environment and the world around us. At Bux-Mont Awards and Engraving Services, we are committed to doing our part to promote sustainable and socially conscious practices in everything we do. From the materials we use to the suppliers we partner with, every decision we make is guided by our commitment to environmental responsibility and social consciousness. Here are just a few of the ways we are making a difference this Earth Day: Recycling and Waste Reduction: At Bux-Mont Awards, we believe in minimizing waste wherever possible. We have implemented a recycling program that finds ways to keep our waste out of landfills. We recycle our aluminum and brass scraps, and we send our cardboard to a non-profit that bales and sells it to fund programs that help developing countries meet basic needs. We also recycle all of our plastic bags and other light plastic materials that

Promote Your Business with Custom Drinkware: Laser Engraved Yeti Tumblers and More | Bux-Mont Awards

Custom drinkware is a great way to promote your business and increase brand awareness. By offering personalized mugs, tumblers, and bottles to your customers and employees, you not only provide them with a practical item but also create a lasting impression of your brand. At Bux-Mont Awards, we specialize in creating custom drinkware that showcases your brand in the best possible way. We offer laser engraving and printing options that can be applied to a wide variety of drinkware items, including popular brands like Yeti. Laser engraving is a great option for those looking for a long-lasting, high-quality result. By using a laser to etch your logo or message onto the drinkware, we ensure that the design won't fade or wear off over time. This makes it a great choice for items that will see frequent use, such as travel mugs and water bottles. Printing is another option that we offer at Bux-Mont Awards. Our printing process uses high-quality inks that are cured onto the surface

Custom Cast Bronze Commemorative Plaques: A Timeless Tribute from Bux-Mont Awards

Commemorative plaques are a timeless and classic way to honor and commemorate important events, milestones, achievements, and individuals. Whether it's to commemorate a historical event, recognize a distinguished individual, or honor a memorable moment, custom cast bronze plaques are a lasting tribute that will endure for generations to come. At Bux-Mont Awards , we specialize in creating custom cast bronze commemorative plaques that are not only beautiful and elegant but also durable and long-lasting. Our plaques are made using the lost wax method, which allows us to create fine details and intricate designs that capture the essence of your tribute. The lost wax method is an ancient process that has been used for thousands of years to create bronze sculptures and other artworks. This method involves creating a wax model of the plaque, which is then coated in a mold. The mold is then heated to burn off the wax and create a cavity, which is then filled with molten bronze. What are you building?

I've been thinking a lot about a lot lately. (I tend to do that at times) Planning is important, but all the planning in the world doesn't make a difference if the resources aren't available to implement these grandiose plans of yours. I know what your thinking, "well that is a given," but businesses and organizations of all shapes and sizes are born everyday. Most are destined to return from where they came sooner rather than later.  Leadership is the entrepreneurial ability to make the most efficient uses of resources possible in order to add value and earn profit to a business but they can't do it alone.  Historically it was the old money given best odds at success due to the fact that they have the deep pockets most endeavors take.  The old adage it takes money to make money didn't appear out of thin air and for no reason now did it? That said Benjamin Franklin and countless others since have proven that even the modest middle class can make a be

Enjoying the Summer Heat

Well here it is July already and while we have had slow periods the first half of this year sure seemed to fly by quick! While last year ended with a bang due to the acquisition of another trophy shop, this year to date has marked some historic projects in Bux-Mont Awards short history as well. We finished up our part in a awe inspiring Marines monument which is being dedicated this month, and we are right in the middle of our biggest trophy job to date, the Oaklane grands.   This national quarter midget race is so big that we had to rent a factory to produce the job.  Some statistics will follow in a future post. There are 350 trophies ranging in size from six to four feet. We are happy to have this opportunity as the people at Oaklane have been extremely good to us as a customer for over ten years now. If you are in the area at the end of July you should definitely stop by to see a race!

Whether you are shopping for a team or a league, we have something to fit your budget.  Often times people leave commenting "wow, I never realized trophies such a good deal!"  Your kids will have a ball with trophies from Bux-Mont Awards perfect participation basketball trophies, awards and more!

Charities, Non-Profits and their stake in the recognition industry

Charities are some of our best customers.  Many of the charities and non-profits understand, for whatever reason, that proper recognition is beneficial to the bottom line.  Maybe its the volunteer nature, maybe its because of the many good and worthwhile causes that these charities are supporting.  And whatever the reason, they use recognition awards , plaques and gifts to show their appreciation for many things.  Volunteering time, donating money, hosting a fundraiser, selling tickets, educating the public, all these things we help recognize and are very proud of it. What is special to you?  What are you doing to recognize the efforts of those helping you help others?  What motivates you to help?  Please share your thoughts and stories in the comments. Contact us  at Bux-Mont Awards if you want to learn more about how properly recognizing achievements can help your non profit or charity to succeed!

Valentines gifts Grandmom will love

This summer marked my daughters first art camp, and she came away with some really neat stuff.  She made the coolest picture and forgot it there, luckily the art studio where she was going was right above our old store.  The teacher brought the painting down and I couldn’t have been more proud.  My wife and I showed the picture to everybody and her grandmom and great grandmom absolutely loved it.  Dad was looking for ideas for birthday presents for my daughter this year and decided to put her painting onto one of our imprintable tote bags.  What a great idea, the final imprint turned out great and anna loved it!  Her mom-mom got one for Christmas and she was absolutely ecstatic as well.  These bags can be made with your childrens artwork on them and would make great valentines day presents.  A unique gift better than chocolates or flowers, it will be remembered and cherished always.  Stop in or email your orders here .  Happy Friday!

Skip the Mall, We engrave it all

We can engrave stuff that wasn't purchased here (most of the time.) A lot of people are surprised to learn that we engrave stuff. Like our name isn't Bux-Mont Awards & Engraving Services or we are just a trophy shop. Thankfully we have a network of jewelers referring customers to us. Long time ago, the jewelers used to do their own engraving, but then it got to be too expensive and since we opened most have been referring peoples engraving needs to us. Most local trophy shops have the ability to do this. We offer a lot of the same products as a typical mall engraving store, but we do it at a more affordable cost with higher quality. The quality is higher because we take care of our machines and take our time. The more affordable cost comes from not having to pay high mall rents. Some other products we offer you probably didn't know we have include but are not limited to the following: Wedding Gifts Wedding Invitations Engraved Wine & Champagne glasses (also f

Breast Cancer Awareness Month

It is hard to believe October is here already, but you know what that means, the start of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. I am sure that everyone knows someone affected by Breast Cancer, and we should take this time to remind all you ladies to do your monthly breast checks , and to everyone else, we can all do something to do our part to help find a cure. Let's get together and make something great happen. That said we are trying to do our part and for every purchase of Breast Cancer related Recognition items we are going to be donating a portion of the proceeds (from 3 - 5%) to the Susan G. Koman Foundation . And for the Cancer Ribbon Resins, we will donate 100% of the profits towards fighting for the cure. Breast Cancer Awareness Resin Cost: $25.00 Description: Breast Cancer Awareness ribbons in pink on a black base, the perfect way to recognize the achievements of those fighting for the cure. Spring has sprung: youth sports are in the air!

There are many great things about this time of the year.  The plants are starting to bloom and signs of spring can be seen everywhere. The athletic fields are starting to get used again, and signs of new life are everywhere.  I just want to take the time to remind everyone that we need to practice good sportsmanship and remind all parents that these games are played for the kids enjoyment. It is hardwork to play a long season for everyone involved, and it is even harder to have your kids playing while you are volunteering and coordinating the bigger picture.  As parents we need to realize all the hardwork and dedication the kids put into playing youth sports, and also the parents and volunteers work that goes into getting the kids to practice and the games, and volunteering to help out in  youth sports organizations where it is very desperately needed.  Thank you and your participation and involvement does not go unrecognized.  The smiles on the kids face s when they get that participa

We can and will continue to meet your (skip to number 3 if you aren't ready for a pretty long run down of some of the things we are capable of) corporate awards needs, your engravables and industrial signage needs, your donor recognition needs, your corporate gift needs, your pr

New website layout

Please give us feedback on our new website design . It is a pretty drastic change from what it was, and we are hoping it was a step in the right direction, if only a small one. Some exciting features we would like to point out to you, in no particular order are the following; integration with our online awards store, awardsreward.com into our website awardsR.us . You can now travel back and forth from one to the other almost seamlessly. A promotional products search section that enables you to purchase your promotional products online at any time. This has been in the works for sometime now and we are pleased with the way it turned out to be sure. A learning section with links to our blogs.
